Mokoya Lodge is less than an hours drive from both Johannesburg and Pretoria off the R560 and borders Gauteng and North West Province. Situated on 27 hectors of pristine agricultural land bounded by unspoilt African bush (forming part of the Hartebeesfontein Conservancy), Mokoya Lodge runs along the Magalies River.
Directions from Sandton: Take the R512 past Lanseria to Hartebeesport Dam. At the t-junction, turn left onto the R512 which goes past the turn to Sun City and Hartebeesport Dam. Drive for 16 kilometres.
Turn left again at the next t-junction onto the R 560, towards Magaliesberg and Skeerpoort. After approx. 14 km, at a “Gauteng” boarder sign, turn right onto a sand road (you will see a Mokoya Lodge sign), turn first road left and we are the second entrance on the right-hand-side.
Directions from Pretoria: Take Church Street Extension and follow the N4 toll Road to Broederstroom. Follow the R512 and turn left at the t-junction onto the R 560, towards Magaliesberg and Skeerpoort. After approx. 14 km, at a “Gauteng” boarder sign, turn right onto a sand road (you will see a Mokoya Lodge sign), turn first road left and we are the second entrance on the right-hand-side.
Directions from Roodepoort: Take the Gordon Road off ramp off the N1 onto the R47 which becomes the N14. Turn right onto the R563 past Sterkfontein Caves. At the t-junction, turn right onto the R560, then after 7,6km turn left onto a sand road (you will see a Mokoya Lodge sign), turn first road left and we are the second entrance on the right-hand-side.
